CareerCoach Engine
A scheduling workflow that connects mentors, clients, Google Calendar and Google Meet without turning coordination into somebody’s part-time job.

What was broken
Booking a session meant several messages back and forth between mentor and client, a manually created calendar invite, and a meeting link pasted in by hand. Time zones and last-minute changes made it worse.
How we built it
- Availability from the sourceMentor availability is read directly from Google Calendar, so clients only see slots that are genuinely free.
- Booking creates everythingA confirmed booking creates the calendar event and the Google Meet link in one step, for both sides.
- Reminders and reschedulesAutomated reminders go out before each session, and reschedules update the event instead of creating duplicates.
- Failure-aware integrationIf a Google API call fails halfway, the booking is retried or rolled back cleanly rather than left half-created.
Inside the product
The real product is confidential, so these screens are illustrative mock-ups. I can walk you through the real product on a short call.

What changed
Mentors and clients stopped playing calendar ping-pong. Scheduling runs end to end without manual steps.
